Moon Observation Task (nightly observation of the moon)
Instructions:
As part of the Sky Science Unit you will need to observe the night sky and record your observations of the moon. Observations should happen every 2-3 days from February 7, until March 1.
We already learned that the Moon’s phases are regular and predictable, now we need to practice observing and drawing the various phases.
Record your sketches of the moon on the page provided and record the date. Extra Copy here: edu_astro-charting_moon.pdf (10533)
We will be referring to this activity again at a later date so please keep it neat and tidy! Hand it in on March 3.

Take-Home Planet Project Info:
You need to research one planet(we will draw names).
Once you've completed the 2-page information sheet on your planet, you can then pick one of two options. Option 1: Invent an Alien Option 2: Create a 3D model of your planet
